Clubs & Circles


University life just isn’t complete without club activities! Tokiwa has a wide variety of clubs that are waiting for you to join.

Councils and Committees

Executive Council
Student Association

We oversee and manage clubs as well as planning lectures for the Tokiwa Festival. We also design & produce graduation albums.


Tokiwa Festival Executive Committee

As the organizers of the “Tokiwa Festival”, we're involved in a wide range of activities, from planning to management of participating groups, negotiations with external parties, and promotional activities.

Sports Clubs (体育会)

Baseball Club

The team belongs to the first division league of the Kankoshin Gakusei Baseball League. Under the team slogan of “Focus on One Ball,” we are aiming for a higher ranking by strengthening our teamwork.

Soccer Club

Joined the Kanto University Soccer League “Norte” in 2022. The club has a partnership with Mito HollyHock and won the 2023 North Kanto University Soccer Championship.

Kendo Club

Our goal for the future is to participate in the All-Japan Intercollegiate as a team. We are also working hard to achieve higher rankings in other competitions.

Athletics

Golf Club

We are working hard to advance to the higher ranks in competitions. We are always working hard with our friends to improve our skills and human qualities.

Badminton

Cultural Clubs (文化連合)

Brass Band

In addition to regular concerts and competitions, we aim to be an orchestra that cherishes every performance, such as the entrance ceremony and the Tokiwa Festival.

Manga Club

Tea Ceremony Club

We are involved in activities to pass on the “heart” of traditional Japanese communication and perform tea ceremonies at the Tokiwa Festival and off-campus tea ceremonies.

1010 (Juggling)

We're a juggling club. We perform at the Tokiwa Festival and other events and attract the attention of many spectators!

ALL AROUND MUSIC (band)

We enjoy all music genres. Live performances are our main activity, but we also have many events such as cherry blossom viewing, camps, BBQs, and more!


と?らのあ~な (band)

We are a band playing everything from Japanese rock to anime songs, vocaloids, Western music, and more.


Sign Language Club

We study sign language and perform. You can find us on stage at the Tokiwa Festival.

Photography Club
しゃしんぶ

Any type of camera is welcome, including DSLRs, smartphones, and instant cameras!


Boogie Train (Dance)

For those who love street dance and exercise. Please come to Tokiwa Festival to experience our dance.


Kyuyukai (ball sports)

We play ball games such as basketball and volleyball. (non-competitive)


Fairy Tale (volunteer)

We are a volunteer club that engages in activities related to the SDGs. We are involved in tree-planting campaigns, plant dyeing, and fair trade.


Japanese Archery Club

Practice is held twice a week. Most of the members who join the club have no experience and are highly recommended for those who want to train their mental strength.

eTERNAL wolves

Newly established in 2022. The club members enjoy playing games while competing with each other.


Theater Club TAC

We incorporate etude = improvisational drama into our practice. We put on a performance once a year, and at the Tokiwa Festival, we organize a haunted house.

Campus Advisor

We promote Tokiwa University's appeal from the students' perspective. At the Open Campus, we are in charge of planning, preparation, and operation on the day. We also help to enliven university life in a variety of other ways.
